A power of attorney is a legal document authorizing someone to make decisions and sign documents on behalf of someone else. Generally, the person creating the power of attorney is known as the “principal,” who authorizes another person “the agent,” or “attorney in fact” to sign documents as the principal’s representative.


Cancellation Policy

To help your appointment go smoothly, please review the following: Valid ID Required All signers must be present and provide a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID at the time of notarization. Personal Appearance Missouri law requires the signer to appear before the notary. I cannot notarize documents without the signer present. Fees Notarial fees are up to $5 per notarial act (per signature notarized), as allowed by Missouri law. A separate travel fee applies for mobile appointments and is agreed upon in advance. Travel Policy Once travel has begun, the travel fee is due even if the notarization cannot be completed (for example, missing ID or incomplete documents).
