Service Description
This service allows eligible estate planning documents to be notarized through a secure live audio-video session. If your documents qualify for electronic signing under Missouri law, we will meet online. During the session, I will verify identity, witness electronic signatures when authorized, and complete the notarization in accordance with Missouri Remote Online Notary laws. Please note: *I do not prepare or review legal documents. *I cannot explain legal terms or confirm whether your documents qualify for electronic execution. *You (or your attorney) are responsible for ensuring the documents are eligible and ready for signing. You will need: *A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID *A device with camera and internet access I conduct all remote notarizations from within Missouri, as required by law.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure a smooth and compliant remote signing, please review the following: 1. Eligibility of Documents Not all estate planning documents qualify for electronic signing. It is your responsibility (or your attorney’s) to confirm that your documents are eligible for remote online notarization under Missouri law. I do not determine whether a document meets statutory estate planning requirements. 2. Identity Verification All signers must provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Identity verification will be completed using approved remote notarization procedures during the live audio-video session. 3. Technology Requirements Each signer must have: *A reliable internet connection *A device with camera and microphone *The ability to access and sign documents electronically If technical issues prevent proper identification or recording, the session may need to be rescheduled. 4. Location Requirement At the time of notarization, I will be physically located in Missouri, as required by law. Signers may be asked to confirm their physical location during the remote session. 5. Legal Advice & Document Review I do not prepare, review, or interpret estate planning documents. I cannot explain legal terms, confirm document validity, or advise you on estate planning matters. If you have questions about your documents, please consult a licensed attorney prior to your appointment. 6. Willingness & Capacity All signers must appear willing and aware of what they are signing. If there are concerns about coercion, duress, or capacity, the notarization will not proceed. 7. Recording Requirement Missouri law requires remote notarizations to be audio-video recorded. By scheduling this service, you acknowledge and consent to the recording of the session as required by law.
